Visible Hands: 15 Years Leading the Transformation Toward Equity
Visible Hands is an ode to those invisible hands that shape, create, and sow—turning dreams into realities and challenges into opportunities. Since its inception, it has been a space where the invisible becomes visible: the hands building a technical, ethical, and poetic future. Born as my great endeavor after my time at the Ministry of Culture, Visible Hands was created to incubate ecosystems of transformation and chart new paths of leadership with a focus on racial and territorial equity in Colombia and beyond.
Over 15 years, the Visible Hands network has grown into the largest leadership network for equity in Colombia, connecting more than 30,000 people, 600 organizations and initiativesand fostering exchanges with 5 countries of the African diaspora. Today, we celebrate a decade and a half of impact: visible leaders in government, international cooperation, academia, and other spaces who embody the mission to transform not only their communities but also the future of humanity.

Since 2014, Paula has been the first Afro-Latina and the youngest woman to serve on the Board of Directors of the Ford Foundation, where she has led the program committee, building a legacy of social justice worldwide.
